Pet Insurance
Sorry for so many questions! You would think I never owned a dog! I have for many years and haven't had any problems but I want to do things better. My last dog had Cushing's Disease so, as you can imagine, it was quite expensive but worth it. I was wondering if you all had pet insurance. There are many companies. I had a trial membership with the AKC. I didn't read very good things about it. What are some of the companies you use, if you use any at all. Thanks so much!

We get our insurance through Banfield and it's great when we need to take him there. The unfortunate thing is that Banfield's insurance is only good at that Banfield location. So, if we need to take him to any other Banfield or an emergency pet care facility, it doesn't apply. We have thought about getting insurance through a national agency but we're not sure who to go with. It's definitely worth it, though.
