I am looking for the name and location of any place in northern illinois that offers agility classes. I am having no luck in my area in finding anything. I live about 1.5 hours south of chicago

Parker and Penelope started "fun" agility classes earlier this summer and loved it...actually Parker loved it and Penelope loved some parts of the agility. We are doing another session and are having so much fun!

You can still work on a few things without worrying about taking a toll on their joints--working on "jump-come-cookie," but making them just run through the jump standards (put the bar on the ground so they work on their striding), is one way. Also running through tunnels, low inclines, etc. Have fun!

They look little, but they show real fast how big they are!! It's improtant to have the obedience foundation to help with the agility-

Comment by Charlie's Mom 1 second ago Delete Comment It helps tremendously to have a solid obedience base prior to taking agility classes. Since Chesney is 10 months old, you have a couple of months to take some basic obedience classes. My trainers recommend that agilty training shouldn't start until a puppy is closer to 12 months old to keep from harming developing bones and joints. You will love how much stronger the bond develops between you and Chesney. Charlie and I feel as if we can conquer the world!!! By the way, having a Corgi in class is awesome. Since they are so smart and able to think on their feet they excel in class. I'm sorry, I had to brag a little bit! :)
