Hi - We are just in the very beginning stages - we are looking for a class with openings in our area! What equipment should we either buy or build first to help us get started?

We got our first tunnel today. She had her first experience with one at puppy class and didnt' seem to mind it. So we went and purchased one. It's something the whole family is getting involved in. We like to see who can get her to go through it the fastest!

I can't wait to get her in some training classes, but figured we should wait until puppy class is over. We'll just work on it a little bit at a time at home.

Any suggestions on what to work on at home?

I took Pancake to agility when he was less than a year old and we learned the basics but the instructor told us that he was too young at that time and should wait till he was at least 2. I felt so bad because he had such a great time in agility class and was actually really good at the jumping, tunnels and A-frame. He's awesome at the frisbee but I would love to get him back into agility now that he's a little older.

Megan, this is something we are looking to start on this summer. I know there are several on the site that are very involved. Thanks for starting the group.
