What if we let channel 18 know the day before? So the news vans can show up and everything. Maybe it would draw more attention to the page and even more people will show up the next time.

I'll check into putting something in the Richmond paper too. I had thought about going to the Bluegrass Barkery and getting a cake or just a bunch of the homemade treats. We could check about giveaways too.

Should we plan to do anything else? Maybe bring snacks to share? Maybe entice a local pet store to sponsor some giveaways? How long do you think this'll last?

I have a friend that works for the Lexington Herald-Leader (our local newspaper), so she's going to put this in the Pet Calendar for next week to promote the meet-up!

I love it!! I live just a few minutes from Wellington! A friend of mine is a member of the Friends of the Dog Park group in Lexington, so maybe they can do something more official to allow us to have some room to ourselves!
