Actually, Best Friends teaches obedience in the Army depot near the airport, but our agility field (I train with BFO) is off of Cat Nip Hill Road near Nicholasville. There is no real set place where they have classes--they're even offering classes in Winchester.
Hey Megan
I live down in Berea, but will have to drive up for classes, there is nothing for dogs down here:( Someone told me there is a good training center out near the Lexington Airport. How often do you train in Buckner? I think we are going to be at the nationals in September. My daughter will probably show Buck in Jrs. I can't wait to be surrounded by all those corgi's, and corgi people:)
Lynne, where in KY do you live? I do agility with Dally here in Lexington. We had an agility trial in Buckner (just east of Louisville) this past weekend.
Just to let everyone know, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America's National Specialty is at the end of September in Ft. Mitchell, Ky!!
I am interested in doing Rally and Agility with Buckeye. Anyone participate in either with your dogs? We haven't done more sit, down, and come at this stage in the game. I went and watched a Rally match in Corydon Indiana last weekend, I think we have a long way to go:)
Welcome to the group, everyone! Maybe one of these days, I can try to organize a meetup for us!
Oh! Just wanted to let you all know that September 11 and 12, E.P. Tom Sawyer State park (here in Louisville) is having a doggy swim day at their swimming pool! It's only $5 per dog, and they get to swim at the pool! We're planning on bringing Miso!
Hi all! Dallas Mae and I live in Lexington. Mandy, I went to school at Murray State University, which was only an hour from Ft. Campbell--the area is pretty nice!
