If I am in the area I am totally in! We just got back last night from Oly. We were there for a long weekend (Thrs-Sun) and were really loving the weather. So much cooler than over on the eastern side of the state so Ashton was a happy camper. Get this, we tried to go to Sage's and when we pulled up, there is a sign saying they are on vacation! Rawr! Go figure, we finally have time to check the place out and it just happens to be their vaca time. LOL

Wouldn't it be great if we picked a day to flood the local dog park with corgis? Who's in?

Does anyone in the area have experience with flea control? I am having trouble keeping Wash flea free. Tried frontline, and revolution, neither really seem to work. I can wash them off of him but they are back as soon as he sits down out side. Any ideas? I cant bath him every other day.
A good way to learn about dog shows is to check one out. The show in Shelton, and most dog shows, have a "New Exhibitor Briefing" that spectators are welcome to attend. They basically give you the run down of what is happening. It's a great way to learn about dog shows. For the Shelton show it is going to be on Saturday, September 25th. They haven't announced the time of the briefing yet. It's suppose to be in the judging program so when I get mine I will post the time here. :)

Right on Gail. I might have to learn more about the dog show, whats it all about. And yes, shop at mud bay, they are quite a great pet store. You should check out Sage's Brunch House while you are down there, great food and corgi friendly to boot! It's right on the westside.
Oh wow, Brandon, you are right. I scanned through the postings on the first page and everyone seems to be in the area, but not in. lol We really love Oly and this summer have been over there one weekend a month this past summer. Going to be back up there for the Gig Harbor Dog Show which is going to be in Shelton at the end of Sept. The free lodging for us makes heading over there very nice. :) Plus, we gotta get our Bagel Brothers fix and do some shopping at Mud Bay!

Am I the only one actually in Oly? Wash and I are up the hill above downtown, westside.
Go Geoducks! My hubby got his BA from Evergreen and we use to live in Olympia right after we got married. We are back over in Eastern Washington but have a very warm spot for Olympia. My grandparents had a house in Shelton and it now belongs to one of my cousins who is fixing it up as a family vacation home. So hopefully we will be back over in the Oly area for some corgi fun soon! :)
