Our son lives in England so it is fun and visiting. One week we are renting a narrow boat and cruising the canals north of Bath. Did this a few years ago (around Stratford On Avon) and had so much fun, beautiful countryside and major pub hopping.

Oh I would choose England and France too. That sounds wonderful!

We are going to England and France for a month the end of May. Maybe next year, we are actually thinking about selling the NC house and moving to the Poconos, PA area. It would put us 2 hours from the grandkids for the 6 months that we spend up north.

You guys should come. The only tough part is sometimes they have tulips and sometimes  they dont. It just depends on our unpredictable weather. One year we called it the "stemfest" because the tulips were already gone. Sometimes most aren't opened but when they are open it is really pretty. There's a nice parade with clog dancing and Holland , Mi is a really nice town with beautiful beaches.  So we like it rain, shine or cold.

We are definitely making our plans for Spring and Summer! Hoping to  go to the Holland, michigan Tulip Festival the first weekend in May. I hope to finish my chemo treatments the end of April so we'll see how I feel. We are going to Frankenmuth on Memorial weekend...just can't miss the fabulous Dog Bowl , hot air balloon races etc. Then we are spending the month of July again in Petoskey, love that area. There will be plenty of other trips to fill out the summer. Really looking forward to it!!

Winter can't last forever. I hope many of you have spring and summer trips planned. We have enjoyed our winter in Florida and will be returning to NC first of April. Going home will be hard as most of you know he lost our Tenby last month. We miss him so much. But thinking of him beyond the bridge running with a pack of corgi friends warms our hearts. Happy and safe travels!!

We're hoping to get out up into the Sierras maybe this week. Our town of Napa Ca has been digging out after the quake.A lot of broken glass, electronics, heavy furniture, but all that's only stuff.Need to head out into beautiful country and forget about the shaking for awhile.
