Corgi Play Group - Columbia Area
Hey yall! I'm new to the group (and site) and I was reading some posts from last year about a corgi play group, possibly in the Columbia area since this is a central location. I'd really like to start that discussion up again. My Cardigan corgi is Hugo and he loves playing with other pups... sometimes I think it'd be good for him to socialize with other corgis because some of the dogs he plays with don't like his nipping... I mean, I don't always like it either (haha!), but I think this is one reason corgis get along well - they just understand each other! He still plays VERY well with other dogs, but I'm interested in getting a corgi group started. Anyone interested??

Hi Heather! I'd be interested. I'm from Greenville, SC and always visiting Charleston. so I'm always passing through Columbia. my corgi has yet to meet another one. he's always playing with other dogs, large and small.

Great!!! Hopefully we can get some more responses and set something up soon. There are not many good park type areas for dogs (especially not without a leash) in Columbia, but I'll start doing some research to see what I can find for us. I know dogs are allowed at the Riverwalk area near downtown Columbia as long as they're on leashes, but I'd love to be able to find a large, open area where they can play. Will keep you posted!
