There are ALWAYS corgis available for rescue in SC and the surrounding areas. Friends of Walmarsh is a rescue group in the Charleston area who is really good about matching up people and their corgis. There is also the Palmetto Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue group - there is a link to them on the PPWCC website. There is also a big rescue group in the Atlanta area. And unfortunately, I am contacted by people weekly letting me know that there are corgis on Craigslist that are needing to be rehomed. There are great breeders out there, no doubt, but there are so many out there that need loving homes, rescue is a great option. I just saw a link on FB regarding a corgi in a shelter in NC who was terrified and needed to be pulled ASAP. If you cannot find contact info for any of these groups I've mentioned, and want to, just e-mail me at email@example.com and I will be happy to get you in touch. Good luck and corgi hugs!
