We are looking to adopt a 1 year old (ish) corgi of either gender to go to a good home in Lake Charles - professional couple with 3 kids ages 7-10 and fenced back yard. Thanks to all who can provide direction to achieve this goal!

Toby likes to do that to big dogs too. When I take him to the park he likes to play with only the big dogs and i think all he can reach is their neck and legs. He gets overwhelmed sometimes when it's a large group of big dogs around him and he nips at them and growls a little. But, he never attacks a dog, it's more of a "leave me alone" nip/growl combo.

Lela it's common from what I've seen for corgis to try and be dominant dog, even with larger dogs. Pandora has a thing for ears in particular, but she doesn't hurt anyone. My advice is to use a spray bottle of water to correct any behaviors you don't like.

We're having a Corgi Paw-Tay at my house near Carencro on January 23rd 1-3 PM. Friend me and Mr. Spock if you'd like more info. It's some of the same group that's walking in the Krewe des Chiens parade. We'd love you to join us for the party and/or the Corgi Krewe in the parade (Check out the group: Corgi Krewe: 2010 Krewe des Chiens Marid Gras Parade).
