I think a park meet-up sounds good! Maybe a less populated park like Secor would be worth considering?

Hi Valerie and Simon,
Yes, I think a Wildwood walk is a great idea! Weekends are generally good for us too, especially Sunday evenings. Fridays and Saturdays in August are pretty booked for us. I'll keep checking the site to see if we can find an agreeable time for all/most.

Hi everyone! Is anyone interested in doing a 'walking meet-up' at Wildwood? I don't have a fenced-in yard so I can't do meetups at my house, but I'd love to do a meetup at the park and go for a 'group corgi walk'. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings are good for me most of the time -- I thought it would be nice while the weather is still so good and we have longer hours of daylight. Anyone interested?

I'm looking forward to everyone as well. So far we've got Ed & Dex, Nellie, Mittens, Simon, and Izzy. Can't wait to see everyone around 2:30 tomorrow. I'll have water out for the dogs, as well as their wading pool. You can park in our driveway or on the street.

I have a pool set up, yes, becuase its been so unbearably hot out. I can move it if no one wants a wet dog, but its supposed to be hot on Sunday.

Simon and I will still be there -- he's been doing alot of socializing with other dogs and I'm hoping he'll behave! He's very 'bossy' with Josie and doesn't seem to CARE if it bothers her (OR that she's over 50 lbs. and could eat him if she REALLY wanted to), and I think he'll be the youngest there, so it'll be interesting to see if this bossiness toward his 'elders' is still going on. We visited a friend last week with a 15-year old dog, and yes, he was STILL bossy, so I'm guessing he'll still be like that. But he hasn't met other corgis yet, so this should be interesting.

I'm fine with just bringing snacks -- frankly, I don't need the extra pounds from hamburgers anyway! :) I'm doing Weight Watchers, and I'm going to Chicago next week and I know I'll blow my diet there. So I'll just bring a fruit dish of some kind!

BTW, do you have a wading pool for them to play in? I need to know if I should bring a towel for him.

You can type my address into googlemaps 6552 Coppersmith Rd, Sylvania, Oh. I'm not good at directions, the best I can do is just head all the way down Alexis towards Sylvania. Once it turns into Monroe street, take Main street. Turn right onto brint rd, left onto McCord, and left onto Coppersmith. We have the bi-level red and white house.
