Toledo Area Corgis

Information

Toledo Area Corgis

This is a group for all of the Toledo (and surrounding area), Ohio Corgis. While we Corgis aren't rare, we certainly aren't seen as much as a Labrador or German Shepard, so we need to stick together!

You can bring anything you would like. I expect I'll have chips/dips/salsa/hotdogs/hamburgers again. Anything is welcome.

I will be there with Izzy, she is the best behaved, Tessa is pregnant again and she gets a little "Iffy" when she is pregnant, what would you like me to bring?

Hi all,
Sunday the 28th works for us . . . . . . however, I don't know how much time we'll have as our (adult) kids will be home for the weekend. Are we thinking mid to late afternoon? I'm sure we can come for some of the time, but won't be sure about dinner plans til the date gets a little closer.
Looking forward to meeting some more Corgis!

Sunday the 28th is good for me! Simon and I will definitely be there! It'll be his first meeting with other corgis -- hopefully he'll be good! He plays pretty nice with Josie but he's VERY 'I'm in charge'-ish, even though she's 50 lbs. and could eat him if she wanted to. I just don't see him standing for being the non-Alpha dog once he grows up. But he likes play, so I'm hoping he'll do well with the rest of the corgis!

If Sunday the 28th of June sounds good to everyone, we can set that as the date. I'm willing to have the meetup at my house again. I have a large fenced-in backyard with friendly dogs on all sides, including a Beagle/Lab mix and Mini-Dachshund on the left, and Chocolate Lab, Saint Bernard, and Schnauzer on the right. We could do another cookout-type thing. Let me know if this will work! And welcome Sarah to the group; hopefully she'll find another wiggle-butt soon and can join us in the future!

Hi everyone! I live in Lima and am looking to add a corgi to my family again after being corgi free for over a year the withdrawal is getting to me! I'm looking more to adopt or rescue. Just want one young enough to train and maybe get into agility with them. any help in finding a corgi butt would be great!

By the way, Sunday afternoons are better for me. I have to work on Saturdays and probably wouldn't be able to come.

If you do the weekend before the 4th, Simon and I will definitely be there! His shots are done on the 21st, so he'll be all ready to go out and socialize! Right now he just has his 'big sister' to play with, and so far, she's playing with him on HER terms, which means when SHE feels like it and not anytime else, no matter how much he barks at her! :)
