I should be able to come depending on where it is!  I don't take Waffle to dog parks so I don't know of any or have a real preference. I thought the VB dog parks required you to be registered or something to use them and you need to bring rabies tags/certificates and stuff.  When I want to take him off-leash, I go to the Kellam High School practice soccer field or to Sandbridge beach.  I would love to suggest going to the Kellam field but I don't know if it is technically legal... I'm okay with trespassing and breaking the law but I don't want to endanger anyone else unwillingly haha.

What if we aim for the beach, and we'll all check in on that morning, if it's bad we go with plan B.  There is a gated dog park in Ghent off Stockley Garden.  Would anyone be interested in going there?

If I am going  to host in in Chesapeake it would be after 2pm, so Kate is off work and can come. I would like to host it on the beach on Sunday the 8th, but the wind really kicks up that time a year (sand blasting= no corgi fun). I would love to have on at First Landing State Park, but that will have to wait until springtime.

Jan 7 or 8 sounds good so far for the next corgi meet-up.  The Greenbrier dog park has an area for dogs under 25 lbs (even corgis over 25 lbs go there - like my Sadie) - and we can let them of the leashes so they can play "freely".  Not sure how the Redwing park is.  Mt. Trashmore is OK but they have to be on leashes.

Congrats! Nature's Miracle is an awesome carpit cleaner :). Also check out http://www.mrchewy.com/ for pet food. I have always got mine from them and they are awesome!

Hello Jessica and Mochi (cute name) and welcome to Corgis of VA Beach. Sorry about the late reply but Christmas time is rush, rush in my little house hold. We are planing a meet-up after the 1st. or if you live close to the beach, or just dropping bye, send me a line and we can meet you there.

Hi all! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jessica and I have a 6 month old pembroke named Mochi. It would be great to meet other corgis in the area sometime! Mochi has only met/been around one other corgi, so I'd like for her to make some new friends! :)

I think he will be ok as long as you have him in your arms.  If it's near the air craft carrier piers at NOB I believe, if I remember correctly a grassy area outside the pier he can go potty, or get away from the crowd for a little break.

hi everyone! we are getting our little TANK! this week, and im wondering if taking him to the pier  when we pick up my husband on saturday is a good idea? i would feel bad leaving him in his crate the whole time we are gone, cuz it could be upwards of 6 hours waiting for him to get off the boat. i dont really have any friends that would be willing to watch him, since he isnt potty trained yet.
