We had been planning a trip to Michigan. Last year you told us about a great place to visit. Maybe next year
This is Izzy's favorite spot while traveling in the motor home. We are in full summer here in Michigan and plan a short weekend trip to a cute town about an hour from us next weekend and then the Traverse City/ Sleeping Bear Dunes area over Labor Day. We spent the month of July in the Petoskey area which is my favorite area of Michigan. Looking forward to the day my husband retires and we travel more!
Who has some end of summer trips planned? As the boys and I sit and lay around recovering from my surgery we need to live vicariously through your travels. If all goes smoothly with my physical therapy we plan to head to Florida the middle of November. We will go back to Fort Myers Beach and stay until the middle of April. Or until spring arrives in North Carolina, I just hate the cold.
Thank you for the warm welcome to the RVing Group. Our first RV trip was to Nevada (Henderson) to visit family. Then we travelled to Utah, to CO to visit son and grand girls. This was the beginning of many more RV trips. Abbey was happy as a lark, she is a wonderful little traveller!
Glad to hear you are having fun. My surgery went well and now I am in therapy 5 hours a day. Therapist is here at the house for an hour daily. On her second visit she had cookies for the boys. They look forward to her visit and I really wish they would keep her out. Boy's don't seem to mind she is killing me with exercises
I am really looking forward to the surgery. I walk 2-3 miles daily and it is getting hard and I spend an hour icing and resting before I can do anything. Just wish the the 4-5 hours of daily PT could just do it by it's self.
Oh so sorry to hear that Laurie! However, everyone I know that has had knee replacement says it made their life so much better, hopefully it will be worth it. A couple years ago my husband slipped off a ladder while cleaning our coaches windows and broke his knee cap and that ended our Rving for the summer. It was weird being home so much in the summer :) Wishing you a speedy recovery.
