It was nice to meet you yesterday!  I was initially going to start a Meetup.com group until I saw that cost $$.  I love the idea of Meetup.com, but I wasn't aware that if you created a group you had to pay dues.  I guess it might be worth starting a group to see if it attracted a lot of members.  If it didn't attract many members we could just close the group once the dues run out.  I'm hoping a lot of people will find the Facebook page as well.  Before yesterday I wasn't aware of MyCorgi.com but I had checked for Corgi groups on both Meetup.com and Facebook.

Thanks for taking the initiative! 
May I also suggest a www.Meetup.com group to any of the members? I'd be willing to create one myself now. As an organizer of the Arizona Opera Tucson meetup, I am already paying organizer dues, and I can have up to three groups. 
However, I am moving back to CA next month, and even if I do establish it now, I would very soon be stepping down as an organizer. Let me have your thoughts. 
My dues would be paid until November 2013, and if any of you would be willing to start as a co-organizer, we could simply try how the group develops, and then, by November, a Tucson Corgi member would need to step up to the plate to ake over as the organizer, or the group would vanish again (BTW, the meetup dues are $72 for six months).

Hey we are from Phoenix... But we love to meet other corgi's so if sometime you don't mind us butting in your meet ups!
