Thanks for the comment Sam. I have a good subject to photograph! By the way, your Corgi and Dolly look alike with the stripe between the eyes.
  • Amanda Henson

Nope, I can't. I have too many obligations in town this weekend. It is crunch time with school and interning...Trust me, I would rather take my dog out for a fun picnic...
  • Theresa Holland

    Hey SAM!
    I do want to go.
But it will depend on time and Faye's vet approval.
I think it should be fine even if he said no. She seem to be healing without a problem.

I mailed Betty last week and have not received a reply yet.
  • Tess

Thank you! Your Corgi's are ADORABLE!!!
  • Bill Gotthelf

I am a fan of all corgi's but my 3 are special to me. It was nice to meet you too Sam and I am sure we will be able to get together soon. We come up to your area about once every 2 months. It was fun watching all the corgi's running around having a ball. Betty announced 70 some corgi's but I think there was close to 100.
  • Florence Fong

    Hi Sam,
You and Silvia do have really beautiful corgis. The thing is, which one is Mocha and which one is Vienna? My Ritz is the same colour. All my 3 Corgis have a white blaze down the centre of the head, i.e the past 2 Corgis and the present one, Ritz. Ritz has a red patch in the centre of his white blaze. When he was a pup, it was a round red patch in the middle of the white blaze but now that he's older the red has become elongated and touches the red on both sides.
  • Florence Fong

    Hi Sam,
Thanks for the reply. I can see that both your Corgis and the members' Corgis are very well taken care. ;o)
  • Toni

Mollie thanks you very much. We saw you and your camera at the Corgipoluza at Betty's on Saturday. That was so much fun I never realized how little Mollie was until I saw all of them together. Your corgi's look like real sweethearts. Thanks for putting this site together.

  • Sam

Sam, let me know where you are located. We often need folks to do home visits, identify dogs in shelters and transport. And you are a computer whiz......who knows we made need some help in that department as well. No doubt you have a grand love of corgis to put this site together. I am just learning how to navigate it all LOL
  • Sam

Thanks Sam, just let me know when you think you may be ready. Regarding your pup purchase things will more than likely be just fine. I have seen some pretty sad stories regarding pet shop purchases. Lots of times I see health and behavior issues. Sadly the breeding of these dogs is done with no other regard then to make money. Not really a good reason to breed a dog. There is also a huge lack of support when purchasing from pet shops and less then knowledgeable breeders. Many times people have no other education about our enchanted breed other then the "cuteness" factor. Far too many end up in our program due to the inability to live with them for the long term. Until just recently I instructed at Upper Suncoast Dog Training Club. There I taught a basic obedience class for several years followed by the Intro To Agility class. Classes are a great outlet for a human and their canine pal. Provides good bonding experiences, socialization, exposure to the environment and hopefully the handler will learn a bit about dog communication as well as the importance of rules.
Looks like our webmaster may be moving within the year. We do wish to "spiff" up our site a bit. It is functional. We are redoing some of the text and then will just need the ability to change pictures and add small bits of text either thanking vets who have helped, folks who have donated or small things of that nature. Seems Keri may be at the helm when this change takes place and she really has little knowledge. We may ask for your assistance at that time. Certainly nothing like the scope of what you are doing here.
Also know that I will be glad to help you with any corgi or training questions as they arise. You may e-mail me at my regular address corgi111@aol.com I think you have offered a wonderful outlet to the corgi community.
  • DJ

Hey thanks man. STI's can be pretty harsh, but I like it :)
  • Cheri

Isn't Taffy funny? Every time I watch that video and see her peek around my husbands legs I laugh until I cry! I don't think there's a bigger ham out there. :D
  • Caroline

Thanks for the invite and the compliment! Your Corgi's are beautiful!
  • Megan

Hi Sam! Thanks...yeah, Honkytonkbadonkadonk is funny...I can't wait to see it in the premium list at her first AKC agility trial next year. Thanks to you and your wife for having such a great community!
  • Avyon

    Hey Sam!
Is the peanut butter picture your corgi?

If so someone used it for their DA site lol
    http://x-shokora-x.deviantart.com/art/peanut-butter-luv-65905869
  • Avyon

not a problem :) Im noticing pictures from the site being used more and more on DA (the site has a lot of art thieves so Im not surprised at all)
If I see more I'll give a shout to you or others hehe.
  • Rhonda Robertson

Thank you for your response. I had to have her put to sleep. She would not stop seizuring. Her blood work and diagnosis was that her got bit by a black widow spider. I have never been so heart broken. I hope you all watch out for spiders because they are deadly.
  • Hilary

    Thanks for the welcome!
  • Greg Zaffuto

Thanks for forwarding my reply to the other Sam.... sorry for the mixup ! Greg Z
  • Maryanne

HI SAM---THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE. I FEED BUBAS AND PHEOBE BRAVO RAW DOG FOOD AND I GET IT AT A SPECIAL STORE IN ORANGE COUNTY. THEY HAVE A WEB SITE AND CAN GIVE YOU A STORE LOCATOR. SO BEFORE WHEN I USED TO FEED THEM KIBBLE I USED TO HAVE TO BUY SUPPLEMENTS TO KEEP THEIR COAT IN SHAPE AND AFTER READING SEVERAL BOOKS ON RAW FEEDING DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. I DID IT SLOWLY AND GRADUALLY AND MIXED IT IN TO THEIR KIBBLE AT A RATE OF 1/4 NEW FOOD WITH 3/4 OLD FOOD FOR THREE DAYS THEN GRADUALLY INCREASED THE RAW. EVERYONE THAT CAME TO MY HOUSE NOTICED THE DIFFERENCE AND COMMENTED ON HOW MY MALE ,BUBAS WAS CALMER AND MUCH MORE LESS HYPER.BUT AFTER TIME THE BENEFITS KEPT MOUNTING UP. MY RED AND WHITE IS TEN AND MY TRI COLOR FEMALE IS 9. SINCE FEEDING RAW THEY RUN AROUND LIKE PUPPIES. BRAVO IS A GOOD BRAND CAUSE IT IS A COMBINATION OF RAW MEAT BONES ( GOOD FOR MINERALS) AND ORGAN MEAT AND VEGGIES....IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG AND WANT THEM TO LIVE LONG....RAW WILL KEEP THEM YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL. TAKE CARE
  • Amiga & Frank
