About My Corgi(s):: Bailey was born in Northern California on January 21st, 2008 (an Aquarius - according to doggy astrology, Bailey will be social, a free spirit, quirky, smart, and maybe a rebel!!!). His mommy was a red-headed tri-colored corgi and his daddy Cooper was a red and white corgi. Bailey's fur is much more golden than an ordinary red/white. He gives credit to his parents for that.

Bailey came home on 3/15/08, on a lovely 3 hour drive from Corning, CA. I still remember that day vividly!

Bailey loves meaty treats, the smell of pizza or any other baked carbohydrates (example: french bread!!) , stuffed animals with squeakers, squeaky balls, tug-o-war, wrestling, drinking water, bossing puppies around, peeing on other dogs' poop, doing tricks, going to the dogpark, meeting new people, learning new tricks, exploring, sleeping, and barking too.

Bailey is VERY social and expects every moving thing within a 20 feet radius to say hello to him. If you do not, he will jump on you and insist you pet him. He loves affection from strangers but appears to be embarassed if I display affection to him in public. With dogs, he loves to wrestle, and chase ball-crazy dogs who chase balls. He also loves interuppting picnics at the park, rolling in who-knows-what, and swimming (he's the cutest swimmer too).

We also have relatives on this website. So far:

hi... I also had an corgi pup but we decided to give her away bc we lived in a condo and corgi needs a backyard. My question is which sex barks more? female or male? or jus depends on the corgi and not the sex?

We had to give her away bc she barks a lot and it's not fair for her to be coupe in an apt all day.

Anyways maybe the future we will get another corgi. I realized that corgi make the best dog bc they're very smart...

ps.. Bailey is a rockstar with all his costume!!

hehe, I wish I could! i am a late bloomer when it comes to haloween. we never celebrated it when i was a kid. I am Glad Bailey chose to be a Pirate I was one last year and it was great fun! there must be lots of fun things to do there in S.F.! I will definately be thinking of you and all the other cute corgi's trick or treating while i am at work that day!

My lil corgi that I gave away two days ago was always barking even when she's sleeping! She loves to walk but mostly she loves to be outside on the grass. She loves ppls backyard...

Maybe in the future I will get another corgi.. best wishes with urs..

Wow, is Timmy's little nephew getting to be a handsome corgi devil or what!!!! He's looking more and more like one studly dude! It would be cool to have them side by side once Bailey gets a little older. Love your new pics, but the costume is clearly not Bailey's favorite thing.

hAHHA!! I noe.. it was hilarious and he's such a good sport for leaving it on for a minute enough for me to take a picture. hahaha!! But then I had to take it off of him after. He kept chasing the tail... biting the head off!! hahaha!!

There is no accounting for peoples taste! a Chihuahua? my brain just cant comput that. I am fine, settling into the new place. Rusty the German Shepard is very happy to be there, and the cat is also. We are going to my boy friends parents tomorrow for thanksgiving. Maybe I can get her lemon meringue pie recipe out of her this year! Hope you and Bailey have a wonderful

I love all you photos of Bailey, you have some REALLY great ones! Did you go to the Corgi Fair this year? It looks as though you did because I went and I recognize the photo of the lady with the cheese on her head. Bear is my first Corgi to, I've had Weinner dogs all my life as a child. I can say Corgi's are the best! I haven't made it to the Corgi dog meet in Mountain View yet but I will soon.

I was born in Bakersfield, but don't live there any more. I'm in San Antonio, now (ugh). I wish it snowed here, too. I lived in Oregon for a while, so we got snow then. I've been looking at the weather there online, and it was 26 outside!

How was your Christmas? Did Bailey get some nice doggy toys?

No, Timmy and I didn't make it to the Corgi Faire, I had to work that weekend and with 4-5 hour drive one way, just too much. I'm really bummed though cause I didn't get to see any of MyCorgi pals.

In April we're going to an event put on by the Wine Country Corgi group. It's sort of a half day event, including clinics and stuff at a canine spa in Petaluma.

If you're interested I'll keep you posted. Bailey sure is getting more and more handsome. Give him a hug from "uncle" Timmy.

Yes! there is a meet up this Saturday at 10am at the Mountain View Shoreline Park. Pretty much get off Shoreline Blvd exit off 101 and go towards thepark, you will see a sign for the dog park and take a right before you get to the shoreline park gate. Hope to see you there!

Hey Bailey, that is so cool that you found your brother! Love the photos and the videos! It seemed so real that I started barking and running around! I think my "sister" and I will be up in May to visit my grandparents (humans) in Foster City so hopefully there will be a Corgi meet up in the Bay Area!? I hope you get lots of good stuff for your birthday! We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary with our parents (humans) on 1/19 and got some goodies!
