About My Corgi(s):
K.C. (short for Kahula n Cream, my favorite drink and she was that color when we got her) was born February 23, 2008, we got her in April of that year. Her half brother Taz (Taz the Tank) was born November 3, 2008 he came home just before Christmas 2008. On September 27, 2010 we adopted Molly. She is KC's mom, the breeder decided to retire her from breeding and knew we would give her a good home. Molly went to live with my parents in April of 2012 and is doing great as an only dog and is spoiled rotten.

I have:
Pembroke

    Hi, I have the same problem with the 'come' command, she blows me off most of the time. At home she does really well (I use lots of treats). If I take her to the dog park or the ranch and take her off leash, about 50% of the time she will come when called (I use lots of treats). I know that any trainer would probably tell me its lack of training on my part and not to take her off leash, until she comes 100% of the time when given the 'come' command..
  • Lisa Bond

    Thank you. I LOVE your thought for the day!!! I wonder if I can get away that? lol

    Fern is doing well. We went to our vet last Thursday to evaluate he lingering drips. She has a high alkaline urine so we are treating that and will be monitoring her. Not putting her back on the PPA just yet, going to wait and see if the "natural" remedies will help. The Ectopic Ureter surgery was a sucess and she healed nicely.There is a significant change in her as a result. All good. She even smells wonderful. She is just a bundle of love right now. Can't imagine life without this little one. She fits in so well with the rest. Hope all is well with KC and the rest of the family. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and all.
