Corgis Rule, so enough about me...lets read about corgis!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
My First corgi's name was Algy. He was a black-headed tri-color. On March 24, 2010, after a short time, he finally lost the struggle with lymphoma. He was a good boy, very sweet and low key and always a pleasure to have around. He loved rides and donuts, and popcorn at the park on Lake Ontario. In the summertime, he'd go blueberry picking and steal berries from other people's buckets. We miss him very much.
We now have two new corgis in our lives! Both come from Jane Christensen in Minnesota. Rainy, who now lives the sweet life with my parents, is an absolutely sweet corgi with a very gentle dispostion, and loves to be loved. She will be smothered with a generous helping of that here. Calvin is our newest member and was a rescue that Jane took in and fostered. He is a cardi who missed out on his major window of socialization, but we hope to continue the work that Jane started, and get him out and about. He likes to people watch, but from a safe distance, and boy does he like to cuddle! I hope to have more pictures up of him soon.
Aw thank you so much! She is an absolute joy...even when she frustrates me I can't help but smile. Your Algy is adorable, he looks so young, vibrant and happy. Kiwi sends nub wags and kisses.
hey jo!! i love the pix of algy with the cowboy hat!! =] yea i love this website, thanks for telling aunt fran to tell me about it. lol. yea its nice to know someone (family) on here as well. but i am meeting so many wonderful people whom love corgi's as much as i do!! i love lookin at all the pictures!!! yea i just got a new digital camera and i have loaded the software onto my laptop yet. as soon as i do, ll have a ton of more recent pictures!!!
Hi, Joanna and Algy! Thanks for visiting my page even my blog!!! The number of cogis is really small, but the Corgi Club members are very tight together in Sweden.
hahaha...thanks joanna and algy! penny is a little ball of huggly fuzz! she's a great hot water bottle :D algy is such a beauty...all that long hair and beautiful black coat remind me of my old dog blackie! thanks for the welcome.
Thanks, Joanna-Your boy, Algy, is adorable, too! Aren't they the greatest?! I can't wait to have more. Been tryin to breed her for a couple years, but she's small...hard to find same size male. She makes up for her size in attitude! WOW. In pic 14 she was on her back (Mom LOVES to take pics of me!) on the couch. Naturally, I always wanna just kiss that face! Where is Clarence Center? I am from Canandaigua. Thanks for the note! Nancy
Thanks for the BDay wish...I got sooo many from Corgi owners! We live about a mile from the Gulf of Mexico...It's so beautiful here! I actually miss the snow...crazy, I know, but I'm a season-changin' kinda girl. Pippin loves the colder weather. She would have loved snow, I think. Unfortunatley, she doesn't like the water. I was actually born in Niagara Falls. Had family in Buffalo, N.Tonawanda, Lewiston...was just in Montreal in Nov. & saw snow 1st time in 20 years!!! Take Care, Nancy & Pip
Algy is so cute.. I especially like the picture of him in the sheriff hat. Thank for your comment on my picture of M.C and Spartan. I couldn't believe his eyes turned out that way when I took the picture.. I'm gonna catch them both again I'm sure cuz everytime our cat is sleeping in his bed, Spartan always climbs right on top of him and our cat will let him lick him for bit till he gets fed up lol
Thanks for the welcome. Yes, my boys are adorable but also a handful. I was unsure at first about having two boys and how they would get along. They do fight a bit, and the older one, Bacchus, knows how to get the little guy to comply with what he wants. But Wilson, my little dude definitely has a mind for being in control of things himself. Needless to say, it's a power struggle much of the time. I always win though in the end though!!! :)
haha, it was a gopher! but yea it was quiet a funny situation. mr. busy has been known to walk along side the gopher, then once he has befriended the gopher he goes in for the the kill! -lol- yea between oz and busy they have caught between 5-8 gophers, that we know of! you should totally come out for a visit sometime. you'd have a place to stay and everything. see when aunt fran is coming next and come along for the adventure. ha - its been near the 80's this week....oz got a bath yesterday and he looks so handsome. glad to hear everyone is doing well. =]
Hi, Joanna and Algy. Thanks for looking at our pictures. I need to do more practicing so the backgrounds are less cluttered!!! Skeezix doesn't like the flash very much, but he tolerates me when I'm in a photography frame of mind. He is"Mr. May" this year in the Irish Cardigan Corgi Association's Cardigans Unleashed engagement calendar. What a boost to his ego . . . though actually he's a humble kinda guy. Melissa and Skeezix
Hi. I'm glad you like the pictures. I have plans to put more up . . . Skeezix has been nagging me. So I guess I'd best get with it, just to make him happy. He says that that is my job. :-)
Thanks! We think she is pretty cute also!
Yours is pretty cute also!
does Algy silently sneak up when he thinks you're not looking and ever so gently steal away the tissues? Because Molly exercises stealth, only in that situation.
Thanks. Gwynn and Al are shameless self-promoters and are tickled that people like our photos. Stay tuned for updates; we just got a new $20 (sic) camera.
Gwynn's daddy looks a bit like Algy. Blackheaded tris are gorgeous. Our daughter had a pet named Algy, a three-foot plastic penguin (really).
I Think so!!! We got Wren from our very good friends, we love her very much, she has truly made a big difference in our lives, she is 5 years old but acts like a puppy, we hope to have her for many years to come....hope to talk with you soon!!
