My wife - Silvia and I run a Multimedia Design Firm - SiliStudio Inc in Toronto Canada since 09. Our specialty includes corporate social media strategies, TV network websites and mobile app development.

About My Corgi(s):: Mocha came into our lives shortly after our wedding back in 2002, we soon added Vienna to keep Mocha company.

Mocha graduated with a CGC and held the position of Ambassador in conduct with foreign canine relations. Mocha was diagnosed with Stage 5 Lymphoma in April, he crossed the rainbow bridge on July 30th 2012.

Vienna received her GED from petsmart university and served as Secretary of Defence in our Corgidom. Vienna was diagnosed with stage 5 Lymphoma in August 2012, she joined Mocha at the bridge just before the last day of the Mayan calendar - Dec 20th, 2012.

We continue to foster, rehab and place rescue corgis in need.

Wow, thanks for the article. Great information! We are going to take her to a surgeon here for his recommendation on how to proceed. We will weigh all the information and make a decision that we feel is best for Cheyenne. I am going to learn how to massage her, too, and hydrotherapy, of course! Thank you so much!!

Hi Sam, danke for your note, I am sorry it takes me so long to respond, I am so very overwhelmed with all this. There Sassy was running and 3 minutes later she is limping on one hind leg and shortly after she is totally paralyzed. I just wrote I needed help, really with everything I guess. I was looking for comments from corgi owners with the same experience and how their outcome was. This site is wonderful and there are a lot of nice people on here, that already wrote me. I appreciate everyone of them. I cannot afford the surgery, which eats me up, I pray, pray, pray that she will stand on her hind legs one morning when I get out of bed. I want to thank you too, that you approved my membership. I am sooo new at all this, I just put 2 and 2 together who you are, duh, he. I just saw the comment from LuvMyCorgis, her Cheyenne has hip displasia. I don't even really know what Sassy has, they said a slipped disk, when I saw her x'rays they looked so perfect. Hi Sam,

I have a technical question for you. Lately whenever I am on my profile page an error message comes up saing " Internet Explorer cannot open the site http://www.mycorgi.com/profile/alice Operation aborted" and kicks me out. It happens 99% of the time and only when I am on my profile, not anywhere else on the site and it happens on different computers (usually home and work). I don't know why this has come up all of a sudden. Any ideas?

Hey Sam we just got a dog from a local rescue and he is not yet potty trained and only somewhat crate trained. I dont want our other dogs to start regressing (my youngest Corgi is finally house broken at 11 months! ) got any suggestions? I found your potty training blog but what about crate training? The new dog is a Mini Pin who is around 2 years old, he was just neutered but needs lots of love and affection as he was left at a shelter some time ago and is not very well behaved yet! Anything you can suggest would be great! Thnx!

Sam, a couple weeks ago there was a 'rash' of lost corgis that were posted. There was some talk about setting up a Lost Corgi area of Mycorgi.com. Is there any new news on that? I've poked around but haven't seen it - maybe it's there, I'm just not in the right place. Thanks for all your work on the site - it's such a great way to meet new corgi folks.

Sam, I was wondering if the link to dogfoodanalysis.com could be added to the FAQ. I didn't see it on there and as often as the question of "what's a good food for my Corgi?" comes up, I think it would be good to have on there to help people compare foods and make an informed decision. Just a thought.
