I think I recognize your kennel name or have come across it in my many late nights of surfing the web. There is nothing more I like to do then chit chat. I haven't talked to Fortins at all but have w/Sandy Johnson some. My Baron is from Sandy. I don' t think the tri color would have much to do w/it...there are alot of tri champions AKC. Brookehaven Corgis is a tri..Sandy's Howie is a tri...Cherry Mathiason has a tri champ..so does Susie Griffith...and Cheryl Luce to name a few. I do alot of surfing as well. I like to read up on health or training issues. Heck...who am I kidding..anything I can get my hands on. I really get into the legislation as well. Do you do any testing on your dogs? How many do you have?

I know what you mean about the tri's. I have heard that myself. I do the Pawsitive ID as well. Are you thinking of doing the DM test? Its kinda scary how there are so many dogs popping up w/this disease. Did you hear that Charles Schauferous has passed on early this morning? Legend in the Corgi world. So sad even if not a legend. He was a vet as well. You have quite a few Corgis. I only have 7. Did you get any from Ohio? You have to have one from every state. lol just kidding. They are irresistible like Pringle Potato Chips.

Its alot of work. Did you get Coalbee when he was older? He looked familiar is the only reason I am asking. Working w/kids like that takes some patience. Give you credit. Hello, How are you? I didn't know you were on here... Cool.. Just thought I would try to lend advice to people and swap knowledge as well. With all the vet experience and Breed working for several professionals, I saw a lot of people with questions that I thought I would love to share what I can. ; )

Our dogs are probably related. Tenby is a Jeager Corgi, son of Moby DIck Chapter Three. I've seen pictures of Moby Dick and Tenby looks exactly like him. He's a big boy, too. He's a rehome. I got him last year. Where does your dog fit into that family? Tenby's mother is Marnac Southern Breeze.

That is cool. Tenby has the best temperament I've ever seen. He loves everyone. I wasn't sure if he'd been around kids, but he adores children and is gentle with them. He's also very sweet and kind to my 14.5 year old, Dixie. He's a big cuddler, too... a really great dog. I'm lucky to have him!

PS... curious if you've shown Spike? Tenby has nine points with 1 major, but has been neutered. He's really a gorgeous dog with beautiful movement. The person from whom I got him said, though, that she thought the 'smutty' face kept him from going further. I guess a lot of judges just don't like it. His is about as dark as I've ever seen. He looks like a raccoon!

I think a lot of judges aren't crazy about black headed tris, either. They're just different. Of course, Tenby's father, who has as much black on his face as Ten is a champion as are others in his line, so it can be overcome.

I know your dog,I spoke with Linda about him at the Kansas shows this past spring.I also spoke with Kathy when she was placing him.She was going to get another male from me, but I guess ended up downsizing instead.Good luck with him, he is a nice dog.

Thanks for the info on the Adams! I asked if they would be having a litter with Max as the sire and they said they thought they would I don't know who the bitch would be as I just sent the 1st email 2 days ago and I don't know if they would know for sure but I suppose they do! I also was so happy that they would NOT dock the tail for me. I am looking for a red/white or a red headed tri!

I went to your website and just fell in love with all of your special babies!!! They are all so beautiful. I too look foward to be able to breed Levi with Lola & Chikita. All are AKC Pedigree and hopefully, soon, with titles. We are currently members of the Springfield Dog Training Center and Levi is in Advanced Novice and Lola is in Puppy Manners working towards her CGC Title. As for Chikita, the baby of the family, I'd be interested in getting her into Confirmation. I'm just not sure how to go about doing that.

Oh he is just a doll. Loves running with the AmStaffs, is a great leg warmer and is just a joy to have. We hope to get the last 2 Ch. wins for his Grand and start showing him full time in AKC come the spring :)

I just saw your two new litters of puppies. They are adorable. Love the fluffies. Good luck finding homes for them. I just came by to give you an update. Kipper is doing great. I love her so much! She already knows a few basic commands. She has been going to puppy playgroups as well and has been having a lot of fun there. Everyone loves her there. She will also be starting classes next Saturday.
