Twinkie is our first corgi and I just can't get enough of her. We got her for our daughter and I love Twinks just as much as she does. I think I have a corgi addiction. Update-The addiction won out and we got our new little guy Logan last fall. They are so much fun!

Sorry I missed your comment so long ago. I'm not on MyCorgi a lot anymore. Pandora is from Monty from Marnac Kennels. His registered name is Pinemeade War Party. It's always nice to meet people who have corgis from Marnac. Candy has the best dogs!

Twinkie and Pan do resemble each other quite a bit. Pan is a sable, so that is why she is darker. She weighs about 28 lbs. We are trying to go lighter, but with a new puppy coming, she'll probably be stealing food again. Sigh... gotta love them! Twinkie is beautiful. I love fluffies.
  • Derek

I have a large fluff too. They are awesome! Do you have to trim your baby, she looks fluffy all over?
  • Libby and Dyddy!!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  • Victoria

hey-how are you guys-been a long time-lets go to the park sometime-its hot but we can go early or late-
  • Dara and Gracie

Hi Cindi. Gracie and Dyson get along great! They are so cute together. They are about a year apart in age so they both have lots of energy! Gracie has really grown up a lot. But, she is the leader in the partners in crime group! LOL! How is Twinkie doing? I would love to meet for a play group when it gets cooler. Let me know!

We had a flea outbreak last summer, which my corgis quickly passed onto my poor rabbit! They all went on Advantix. Been lucky this year. BTW, my thirteen year old daughter is absolutely in love with Twinkie.
  • Lori A. Haskett

Well I'm just guessing on this under the bed thing but I thinking maybe it's a Den thing...where they feel safe undisturbed & quiet...I don't know I was really surprised when we got Cooper & he immediatley wanted to sleep under the bed (like Twinkie) under one side only. Naptime is usually under my chair. My husband works nights & has a different sleep scheduale so when Cooper sleeps with him he sleeps in one of two cubbyholes built under his bed. As soon as I can get around to it I'll be posting my pics of that....Wonderful little babies but I have yet to figure them out!!!
  • Soey

Hi Cindi & Twinkie! Thanks for the add! :)
Your corgi's hair is soooo fluffy! gorgeous!
  • Pat Borthwick

Hi Cindi and Twinkie, thanks for adding me to your friends list. No Arnie isnt dating anyone at the moment... I am sure he would love to have Twinkie as his girl friend, she is beautiful...
    Cheers.
    Pat.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Corgis are very much like potato chips. Having as many as I do can get to be a handful. Or should I say a bed full. LOL
  • Lisa and Odie

Starting my comment over!!! Thanks for the warm welcome Cindi and Twinkie... yes, I do love Odie more than I ever thought I could love a dog!!! Just sad that I didn't get one years ago when I first wanted one... my favorite part of each day is coming home from work to Odie wiggling his butt at me with his ears laid back! He's actually my son's dog, but he is part of our entire family... I'm sure you understand!
  • Joanne Koppenaal

It worked for me! Now I have three! A new tri bor Razzo!

Thanks so much. Twinkie has such a pretty, delicate face. I've never met a fluffy up close and in person. What a cutie.
  • WhiteDove

Hi Cindi. . .here's a picture of Andy, isn't he cute!!!

  • Dara and Gracie

We are planning on coming. We'll bring Dyson with us but Gracie will be herding dog! :) I actually think that Dyson would do better at it since he likes to herd me around the house. It should fun! Are you bringing your family?
  • Brigitte Campanaro

Hey Cindi, I have cancelled the private room which is the $50. We can still go to the Dogma party and have your picture with Santa. Check out the website for Dogma there is no charge to go to the party, pictures with Santa are an additional cost paid to Dogma. We are still going at 2pm hope to see you there.
  • Daniele

Hi Cindi - Twinkie is very cute!  I just realised that you were commenting on others' photos...hence my comment in the friend request.  New to the site - got a tad confused :)  Anywhoo hope you are having a great day!

  • Daniele

How did it go with Twinkie?  Boots LOVED the vet - she was giving her kisses all over and got a very clean bill of health.  She was so interested in the cookie in my hand she didn't even notice the needle :)

  • Kari & Quin

I really like your portrait with Twinkie, I told my husband I wanted to take a picture with my Quin just like it:)
  • Toby {Brenda}

Your fluffy girl is so precious-- I just rescued a fluffy boy this last week and he is a sweet heart and gets along wonderful with Toby our other boy.. Chevy is a big boy and so fluffy - and he is such a lover and oh so smart.. He dances on his hind legs when he gets a treat and my other little boy is watching and is trying to do  that now as well-- They are all so adoreable....
  • Victoria Jackson

Thanks, she would live at the beach if she could! Even though we go every day she acts as though she has been away for months when we are driving there! She sulks if i have to do something else dont put my beach clothes on first thing, people say dogs dont understand humans-they obviously dont have a corgi!  I love your girl Twinkle, ive only ever seen a fluffy once and Gypsy is so jealous of the sheep herding, we have chooks and a rabbit but would love to try it!
  • Toby {Brenda}

Hi yes Chevy is a rescue -both my boys are.. We got Toby 7 months ago after our first corgi boy passed away- we had him for 10 years.. Chevy came upon us rather suddenly , I was almost to the point to stop looking for another dog for awhile ,then Chevy found me kind of a strange story.. Anyways he is the sweetest boy and so full of energy - calm and laid back -but full of energy.. He has a wonderful personality .. Both our boys have captured our hearts ,,
  • Princess CoCo

We get those beef bones at a pet store.  They are briefly parboiled (I think) for disinfection, but essentially raw.

  • Jane Christensen

Thanks Cindi! We are looking forward to Fri. but of coarse those 1st few days will be a little scary till he gets used to us! He is such a sweetie!
  • Kasey, Max, & Zoey

Its definitely not a warhol but its as close as i can with my editor. Hope you enjoy anyway!
  • yvonne reames

Awesome - thank you so much Cindi. I looked over some of your posts, briefly and I must say this: Truman is my first Corgi as well. I love all breeds and have loved all my dogs. However, the Corgi changed something.

He is probably my best friend and I also love this site, Mycorgi.com

I recently ran into a post about a lost/stolen dog and you would think it was my dog that was lost!! I spend endless hours thinking about a website here or there that might have been missed to help post offerings for Zoey. I will be so relieved when she is reunited with her family.

Twinke's is beautiful and she looks very happy! That is the best!

  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Hi!  Just read about you hurting your foot, hope its getting better.  What did you do to your foot?
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Well it is better to be able to choose having surgery than being forced into it unexpectedly.  Either way though, it isn't much fun having surgery and not being able to get around too well.  Crutches are awful, I  hated having to use them a few years ago.  I bet September 21st can't come fast enough!!

  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

I did have a wonderful Labor Day weekend in Cleveland meeting the family of my sister in law to be!!  My baby brother is getting married and the last of  the 4 siblings to get married, I am so excited for them.  It is nice to be back home though and see Lance and Tucker again. I found 3 corgi magnets on the way home at a rest stop gas station, of course I had to buy them all, lol, crazy corgi lady.

Oh yeah and being able to wear fun shoes again, the little things we take for granted on a regular basis!!!

  • DeeDea & Pudge

    Hey Cindi,

I got Pudge from a breeder IN MICHIGAN. Grand Rapids, actually. Her name is Molly and she runs Keepsake Corgis. I think she said she wasn't going to have another litter until NEXT spring though. http://www.siteskins.net/keepsakecorgis/4.html

She has fluffs in nearly every litter. She hasn't decided yet who she will be the lucky sire so no guarantees. You could ask her to see if there is anyone breeding with expecting fluffs in the fall! Fluffs aren't that rare, but blackhead tricolors are! Ask around! You never know. :)

    Good luck!

    -D&P

  • DeeDea & Pudge

BTW Twinkie is a beautiful fluff. :)
  • Alley Boris

    Lol, Thank You :)
  • Lois B. Allen

Cindi,  The lady that I got Randy from has fluffs off and on.  I think  she usually breeds a litter about this time of year but am not sure.  Unfortunately, I have to clip Randy as I did his great aunt because they were temp. sensitive.  I'll add her wetsite for you to see. Lois

  • David, Sons & Thia the Corgi

Thanks for friending us! Twinkie looks Soooooo fluffy, Love the pictures of her running to herd the sheep that is an awesome capture of a Corgi doing what they were bred to do & she looks so joyful doing it.
  • Lois B. Allen

Where are Logan's pictures?  The video sure looks cute.
  • Emilie

Thank you! I'm super excited to start life as a corgi mom!

  • Jen, Brody & Buddy

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!

  • Jane Christensen

    Cindi,

I just put the info for the pics as a reply to you on Chris' discussion! Thanks!

  • Rebecca Marie O'Bryan

thank you so much! me and my husband are very happy with her and are looking forward to bringing him him home on the 4th:)

  • Stacy M

Thanks, I wondered about that. Is the surgery scary, or not too bad? He has long eyelashes, and when I look into his eyes they all look like they point outward, but I'm not a vet haha. I e-mailed his breeder to see if she has any suggestions. And he does go in for another round of shots soon, so I can ask about it then. Your pup is fine now? No tears? :)

  • Billy

Thank you so much for the message about your breeder, I so appreciate it!   Logan looks so much like George however a little more petite I think.  I will post a pic of George on my profile if you want to take a look.  Thanks again!  Julie
