About Me:: Hi! I'm new to the Corgi game...actually I'm new to the dog owning game too! At the beginning of June '09 I rescued my first dog, who turned out to be the most adorable Cardigan Corgi! Later we realized she's a cross...but love her so much anyways.

About My Corgi(s):: I have a wonderful Cardigan Corgi Cross. She's was 2 this summer and her name is Tuesday... She was a stray, and I rescued her from the humane society.

As an update...after being on this site awhile I have realized that, although my Corgi is part Corgi (a minimum requirement to being a Corgi) she is definitely a cross. I'm okay with that. I heart her much!

She is very good, and always is getting compliments.

My Roomba ROCKS!

For the last month or so I've been bugging my husband for a roomba. I read such great posts about it on mycorgi that I felt it would be perfect for us. However due to their expense it just didn't seem feasible. Then yesterday I was on Kijiji and I thought I would look for a cheaper one. Long story short...we got a nearly brand new one (model 530) for only $160.

So the other day I went massive grocery/errand shopping with my husband. We got dog food, and some wipes that keep her from licking/biting her hot spot. Their soothing and taste bad. (At least I think that's what it is.) Oh and some scented hand sanitizer. So I'm using this hand sanitizer all the time and I notice that my fingers have a truly terrible taste. Like just awful.

So I'm all "I hate these sanitizers." Why did I buy them? Woe is me :(

I had a great walk this morning with Tuesday! I'm not sure who enjoys our early morning walks more, me or her. Actually that's a lie. Seeing as how I rarely roll around in the dirt to pick up an exceptional smell, and I hardly ever get to sniff strange dogs rear ends anymore, I think she enjoys them a tad more :)

The point is I massively love our 7:30 AM walks. Right now it's Fall in Canada, and as our Fall only last 2 - 4 weeks, we need to make the most of it. I've never had a dog… Continue
