Keegan (9). My red and white, seizure alarm corgi. He has been my little knigh in shining armor all his life. Loves to play in the agility equipment all by himself and attack the chute when it blows in the wind.

Mini (10) - My sweet angel who I rescued through a corgi friend who had a friend who had a friend with a corgi that she no longer wanted. After several thousands dollars and a summer at the vets she is healthy, happy and very much loved.

                     ...and Deborah too!

I have to say ~ I doubt that I have ever seen anyone cuter than that pic of your Corgi! Thanks so much for sharing!

So how does he signal you?

Interesting item on the local NPR station:  a guy in Seattle (?) has a problem because snakes are not recognized as service animals, and he wears a boa -- boa constrictor, that is -- well, maybe some kind of python -- which warns him of oncoming seizures by giving a gentle squeeze or something.  The snake is not welcomed everywhere.  Go figure, people are funny that way.

Gwynnie barks sharply at me when I'm about to say something unusually stupid.

She barks a lot.

And, uh, do we really know for sure that Superman does not have a cute fluffy butt?

That photo is really high up on the cuteness scale.

How does one train a dog to alert to imminent seizures?

I wonder -- could I train Gwynnie to alert me when I'm about to say something really, really stupid?  [They're herding dogs.  It would keep her busy.]

What if we could train dogs to alert us when we're about to purchase something really really unnecessary, shoddy, tasteless and dumb?
