I own a beautiful tri Pembroke girl who will steal your heart!

My furry child

My husband and I decided to have a dog instead of kids, and River has been the most wonderful companion anyone could hope for. She's the first Corgi I've ever owned and I'm thrilled to have her in my life.

HI Katie, I was wondering if River ever got the FHO surgery. Sidney has the same thing done 6 weeks ago. He also has dysplasia in both hips but they said the left hip was really bad.

oh, I just love River. I clicked on your avatar to see more pictures and she is just too sweet. I love her coloring and she looks like she's got a wonderful personality. I noticed that you live in Atlanta. I'm in Marietta. Let me know if you would ever like to have a corgi meet-up.

I'm so sorry about your baby's hip dysplasia (how old is she?). :-( We just found out our little Hammy has a mild to moderate case in both hips. He never puts any weight on his back right foot and has gotten to where he limps pretty often. Good luck with the surgery, let me know how it goes. We don't need it yet, but the glucosamine and anti-inflamatory meds aren't making a huge difference yet. It's so hard not to let them run around and play like they want to, such a sad thing to happen to such sweet little pups. :-( You'll be in my thoughts.

Katie,
I don't know if you've already seen the vet, but a thought came to me. Timmy developed Panosteoitis (Pano) when he was 14 months old. AKA growing pains. It was only in his left front leg, but the orthopedic vet told us it was not uncommon for this to move to other limbs. (Just a thought)! Please keep us posted on what the vet says.
