Hello everyone. An update on Mac. We are going to go forward with the chemo treatment reffered to as CHOP. Mac deserves a chance to fight this and I am doing everything I can to help him. He gets his first treatment on Monday. I noticed his breathing has become worse and I am just crossing my fingers this works. tip on measuring, best while Mac can still stand. We measured Lucky when he could not and Sonny when he could (much easier with Sonny!) Corgis R Us is website and then group of very nice people in WA state that get together. Bobbie says 6 months to 2 years with chemo for the lymphoma, Bobbie is the one who wrote the book "corgis on wheels" available at Amazon and CorgiAid (Bobbie Mayer) We come up to WA state to camp with the group in June at Grayland Beach!! Carol and Lucky
carts are available from corgiaid, you only pay for the shipping. Lucky's front wheels just arrived, he will have front & back wheels. it was $90 for cart and $20 for these. Bobbie, in charge of carts, lives part time Whitbey Island and part time Fresno. She also knows all about the WA group. Where in WA is Duvall? We are 50 min north of Bend OR. I hope that Mac will be OK, is chemo an option? Carol
Hello Krystal, I have a corgi with IVDD and DM. He has been on a wheel chair for 4 years. I saw you joined the wheeled corgis and that is how I came to your page. We lost our Sonny to DM last summer. Wishing you all the best in what are going thru, anyone nearby you can talk to? Big group of corgi people in wa state, will try to get contact info for you if you want. Carol, Lucky, and Sonny now at the bridge
Hello and Welcome!! So sorry to hear about the recent diagnois of Mac. He is the same age as our red and white pem Tucker. Nothing like going from an ACL to lymphoma. :(
Hugs to Mac and lots of belly scratches.
Welcome Krystal and Mac!
