About Me:
I have loved dogs all my life. So my two children (a daughter and a son) grew up with dogs, German Shepherds, a Dachshound and two Bedlington Terriers.

In 2003 my daughter and I fell completely for Cardigan Welsh Corgi, when she bought Frodo, our first Cardigan. This is really our breed of dogs!

So we decided to become breeders of Cardigan and started Fromax kennel together.

In March 2008 we moved to a house in the countryside (Vingåker). Here we just had our first litter (Nov. 2nd 2008).

If you want to learn more about us, our Cardigans, our puppies and our planned litters, please visit us at our website (in English).

About My Corgi(s):
I have two Cardigans - the lovely red brindle bitch "Tina" (Swedish champion Geestland's Tintomara) and young "Tiger" (Wesa Borgs Tiger). He is also a red brindle.

Tina is the daughter of our kennel's own dog Frodo and a Finnish bitch.

Tiger is already a succesful show dog. At the World Dog Show i Stockholm 2008 he placed third best junior male.

Tina and Tiger got five beautiful puppies on November 2nd 2008 - one girl and four boys - our kennel's first litter.

Together with my daughter Petra's three Cardigans - Frodo, Saga and Holly - they are Fromax kennel.

Tina's Tales

Posted on March 10, 2008 at 6:30pm 0 Comments

I was born on June 23rd, 2005, so I'm a big girl now - 2 1/2 years old.

Last summer I became Swedish Champion, a few weeks after my second birthday. I don't like exhibitions that much. So my dad Frodo says, that now I don't have to go any more of those. It's good enough to be a Swedish Champ.

Here's a picture of me when I became Champion:

It's me to the right.…

Tina's Tales

Hello everybody!

I am a two years old Cardigan girl, called Tina. I'm now "blogging" for the first time in my life - in a foreign language as well - but will do my best to write.

So I think I will start by introducing myself and my family.

I was born in Finland together with two sisters and one brother. My father Frodo (and Petra) brought me to Sweden, when I was 10 weeks old.

My real name is Geestland's Tintomara. Tintomara is a boyish girl - or maybe a girlish…

This I have been told, because it happened long before I was born:

Petra had a very nice and intelligent bitch, Sunga. She got Sunga when she lived in the USA. Sunga was a mix of Australian Cattledog and German Shepherd,

When Petra returned to Sweden, Sunga came along.

This is Sunga;

Sunga had a habit of collecting lost cats and dogs and bring them home with her. One day she brought a German Shepherd home. Petra found the…

Tina's Tales

When I was a little puppy I had big "bodyguard". He was a German Shepherd called Maxen. Sadly enough he became very ill and passed away a year and a half ago. Then he was nine years old.

He was rescued by Petra from a bad family when he was three years old, and he was very grateful for it. And as long as he lived he watched over his Cardigan family - first Frodo and then Saga and me as well. He loved my daddy Frodo as though he was his son.

Here we are, my bodyguard and…

Susan - I see that Tiger looks a lot like my Figg and Tina is the more flashy - like my Newton. They are both beautiful cardigans and their puppies are fabulous. Are they all brindles or do you have a black and white in there?

Susan-I have been out of touch a few days-went out of town to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday-I took my abby with me and she was a hit- she instantly attached to whisper-my sisters beagle and she was so well mannered. My sister wanted me to leave her---no way-anyway, my brother has a pembroke named- yogi. He said he wouldd have to inverstigate the cardigan because she is so laid back and well behaved. anyway I showed off your cardigans to him so he could see how pretty they are. He was looking on mycorgi.com and then I showed him your page. Hope you guys are well. Just had to let you know I had bragged on your booboos.

Hi Susan-I am sure Tina will make a wonderful mom. You will be so busy but what fun there will be. Your Cardigans are so Beautiful. And they look so happy.My babies love to play in their little pool-they can only splash and walk or lay in it-no true swimming but I feel sure they would love to go swimming in a lake or pond.We hope to become country dogs in the next few years-We have a nice fenced in yard they love to play ball in and throw frisbees, but living near Atlanta Ga. is not conducive to country living for us or the dogs. Maybe soon-----

Hi Susan I must agree that the personality is so important when having any pet. We are so lucky that Abby is a wonderful addtition to our family-our pembrokes love to play with her and she with them. The older girl-a skye terrier who is 10, spens most of her days steering clear of anything corgi although she will lick them in the ears if they are lucky. What a joy these babies are and one day I hope to have a big enough place for more cardigans-your 5 corgis look so happy in the water-I will be pullling out the little kiddie pool for mine very soon as the days are getting hot-You have every reason to be proud of your babies-they are truly beautiful.
