View from the sleeping bag, no tent, Labor Day weekend 2011. Al was here exactly a year ago -- with impending dark, cold, wet, wind, zero visibility, and in a hurry to get past some of the best invisible scenery on Earth to find a sheltered spot. This was payback. I love this dog.

Full view is awesome. "Aw fella!" is what I thought when I saw Al in this shot. When I was a kid, one of our corgis (named Distlefink) had the ability to look this noble.
