His belly gets wet and muddy, but surprisingly, if I just let it dry, most of the dirt just falls off, and I'm able to brush out the rest. =)

Beautiful.   Probably the corgi with the longest coat.   How do you manage morning walks when it rains?  The underbelly must be a collection of wet dirt and pebbles...    :)
