Sorry for the VERY LATE REPLY, been so busy that I forgot to reply back til now

It is a regular backpack I'm using, its the camelbak alpine explorer backpack, the key thing with the backpack is to have one that has the clips to snap in on each side of the backpack, it's really that that holds the dog in the backpack.  The zippers don't do much because they eventually just slide down after they start wiggling around.

I placed Cori inside the backpack and walked around with him in it for a few mins and gave him peanut butter.  Did it multiple times adding 5 mins each time...he learned quick and it helped that he was too scared to jump out of the bag too.

Also on i place those blue reusable ice packs on the bottom of the bag and place a pillowcase over so the bag would stay cool while he was in it.

My boyfriend wants to do this with his corgi, so I'm curious: Do you use a regular backpack? How do you make sure he's secure in there?
