So close, yet so far away...
I so hate to deprive them of their favorite prey, but I've gotta vacuum at least once a month, whether it needs it or not. The only time I crate the dogs is when I vacuum.

Yup! Most corgis I have met hate vacuum cleaners. Kismet hated the iron board, and would try to shred it every time I brought it out, but she loved to have her fur vacuumed.
