No offense taken.  The problem is solved.  She actually lets me handle her feet very well as long as she is calm to start with and I go slowly. 

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.  Scout's nails do grow faster than Hershi's (just realized this) so I hadn't really thought about it until I saw your comment.

And please don't take this the wrong way, but she really needs her nails cut! It can eventually affect her toe and leg structure from trying to walk on her nails like that. I think Beth has a good blog post about how to start dremmeling a dog's nails if you were interested in that.
