Bless her heart, she was just doing what instinct told her to.  It is interesting that after generations of more or less domestication, herders still have to herd.

I used to let her run wild, but unfortunately her natural herding instincts take over ... and our donkeys do not take kindly to being herded. Now we only let her roam in areas with no large animals for her to herd.
