I thought Ricky's photos are lacking a beverage. haha. I love the photo of Gromit on the computer next to Lucy sleeping in her booze. It looks like Gromit did the photoshop. He probably did with a little help from Holly (who I hope is doing a little better).

OMG...Molly, the Pembroke just came on. She's just the way I like my corgis: very low and very long, with a great head. But Molly came in 4th. I think her non-showy coat cost her; fawn & white instead of red and white. I chose all my breeders from their photos in the PWCCA newsletter. I studied the breeders that consistently produced the type I loved. Then, I went and got Rafa/Ricky. I'm sure I will be stuck with him forever. When Jack divorces me because of the Rafanator, I will wind up giving Lucy, my best corgi on earth, to Jack––and moving on somewhere with impenetrable furniture and Rafa at my side. Probably a sordid hotel where we pay by the week.

OH MY...This Cardigan, Dickens, is absolutely beautiful. I'm still waiting for the Pembroke. BTW, a commentator mentioned that one of the herding dogs was known for its eyes and stare. The stare was used to keep the herd in line. I never heard this before. When Lucy was a baby, it was almost unnerving how she would stare and maintain eye contact with me. She still does, but, I'm used to it. She has big, round, dark intelligent eyes. She will stare at me until I give in...a treat, dinner... Ricky Rafa doesn't have the intelligent eyes of Lucy. His belie his smarts. He was one of the funniest looking puppies I've ever seen. All ears with a serious face that no one would ever place on a puppy. Even now, strangers think that Lucy is the puppy.
