Glacier Peak attempt

Disappointment Peak (S Ridge) direct route on Glacier Peak, Washington's 4th highest peak, and its most-remote and little-known volcano.
Al could have done this easily if we'd gone around to the right on the glacier (which many people do, unroped), but we don't do glaciers unroped. Nobody falls into a crevasse they can see.
We had 500' of rocky terrain ahead of us, and then home free, but it was not corgi-friendly and no place for a dog, so we wisely retreated with our tails between our legs -- an amazing feat, as neither of us has a tail.
We got to 9200', Al's altitude record.
Goro, the famous YouTube Japanese corgi, has climbed Mt. Fuji, over 1200'.
