Well, we are going to contact the breeder on May 1st to see if she'll have puppies due around September. My husband and I have a vacation planned in August for our 1 year anniversary, so we wanted to get the puppy after August. I AM SO EXCITED! I always had Labradors growing up so it is pretty lonely without a cuddly fur ball roaming around the house all day.

I did that too. I made a running list of things to buy to puppy proof the house, as well as just needed elements. I surfed the web a lot to come up with good ideas. It's a little like preparing for a baby. I even got baby gates and outlet covers. :-). Do you know when you are going to get a pup?

It's a Kong Cloud Collar. We bought ours at PetSupermarket but I believe they sell them at Petsmart as well.
