~7500' on summit of Mt. Hinman, central WA Cascades. This is a rather simple ascent, but does involve ice ax, crampons, and dog belay. 7/21/13. Windy but warm. Too windy and confined to put up my little tent, but you don't need a tent with a corgi inside your sleeping bag. I wore every stitch of clothing I had, with my legs inside my pack, and Al inside my sleeping bag inmy arms. Toasty! Full moon, too.
