PS

Forgot to add that I don't think I could have gotten through the first year with Ricky-Rafa and Lucy w/o the support and wonderful advice from mycorgi members. Always positive. Never judgmental. And pricele$$.

Aww thanks. I love them so. Yours are so beautiful, too. I'm so glad your two became best friends so quickly. Although, until they do, it sometimes feels like an eternity. R/R loved Lucy from the first second he laid eyes on her. Lucy barely tolerated him and it created a lot of stress. They were so mismatched temperament-wise. But, they finally are friends and usually never a foot apart. They even sleep next to each other. It was a challenge, but well worth it. It is such a comfort knowing they have each other and a playmate. I'll attach a photo of them from last night sleeping together. <big grin>. Glad to have met you, Cindy. I love seeing a GSD and a tri-corgi!

yup, those kids have grown up with all the technology. i'm too lazy to read manuals. for me, it's hit or miss. usually it's miss. i think you just have to be really patient (which I'm not!). keep the camera around so your corgi gets used to seeing it, without it clicking. then introduce some treats to get your corgi to approach the camera. maybe, if the camera isn't too expensive, put a little peanut butter so your corgi will want to lick it. slowly de-condition the fear and replace the fear w. comfort and treats, w/o clicking the camera. little by little, the fear should decrease. later click the camera w/o directing it toward your corgis...maybe at your son. eventually, the camera should become a regular part of their lives, esp. with the inducement of treats! treats! i think the other key is to have 2 people. you need one to have treats so the dogs will pose where you want them and look alert, while the other can snap away. i am always alone, and i can't get good shots. But, truthfully, even if my husband wanted to be involved in the photos, I'm sure i'd still screw them up because I'm too impulsive to plan shots with correct lighting and background. maybe someday...haha! i'm just not disciplined.

Thanks!  My 12 year old is the one who gets the best shots of the dogs.

It was a freak accident that they "posed together." There must have been food!

I am so jealous that you can get your two dogs to pose like this.  See my profile pic?  That's about the best I can get of the two of them together! lol

Don't look into their eyes.  That's how they control our minds.
