Riley is really handsome. I wasn't sure I could have another tri after we lost our georgie but I think I'm ready. Our boys are 2 years apart and i think that's the perfect age span. It's wonderful having 2 of them and frankly, I can't wait to get antoher puppy. I've got puppy fever really bad! I'm waiting to get a full brother to Pat. That breeder lives on a cattle ranch and so their corgis working dogs with super temperments.
Corgis are such special dogs. i'm so glad I found this website to meet other corgi people and share info. It's great.

This is Riley our 8 month old boy. Riley is our 2nd corgi...our first corgi Tucker passed away in September 2009 at 10 years. Tucker had a tumor in his liver that burst. I am so surprised by the number of these little guys who die of cancer. I wonder if being so close to the ground they pick up all kinds of bad stuff that settles there. We are planning to adopt another baby when Riley is 2 yrs (our vets suggestion). I think a little girl this time. They have a way of wrapping themselves around our hearts and are so missed when they leave.

Tom is 4 and Pat is 2. They were preceded by our first Corgi, a tri, was George Washington who died of cancer. We're on the wiaiting list for a pup and we plan to name him Benjamin franklin. Sort of stick with the founding fathers...

I live in Texas and see so many dogs in the back of pick ups. My husband once was at a dog park with our two guys and there was a truck with 9 rotties in the back...bad scene to say the least!

tell me about your Corgi...great photo!

I'm sorry...I didn't think so. Please forgive me. I have seen a little corgi riding around in the back of a pickup truck here in Bend. It's a good thing I can't reach out and grab the owner! I cringe every time I see any dog riding in the back of a truck...however the dogs usually look like they are enjoying the ride! Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson are very handsome corgis. How old are they? The names are great.

No, do you think I'm nuts? They were just hanging out while a picnic was being set up. Their poster and eagerness hs to do with the nearness of food!

I'd never let any dog ride in the bed of a truck, no matter what size. I think i'ts a really dangerous practice, only worsened by the folks that actually TIE their dogs in the truck bed!

Do these precious pups ride in the back of the truck when the truck is moving?
