oopsie. someone just chatted from my corgi.com about an incontinence problem. not sure if it was directed at you or me. haha. ricky-rafa peed on my bed a few times, but it was not an incontinence problem, he was acting out. he now sleeps in our bed with lucy, jack and me & is perfect. rescue dogs, as you know, come from troubled lives and take time. it took me a lot of time, and i've owned corgis my whole life. but one day, like a light bulb went off in my head, i "got him." i understood his demons and the pain he was feeling. It was a big turning point. It was an epiphany. We looked into each other's eyes and recognized that I understood his suffering and I wouldn't let him down. Sounds crazy, but that was sort of how it happened. It's almost midnight, so tomorrow I could express that moment more clearly. But, we "got" each other and he's improved markedly since then. Certainly not overnight, but month-by-month!
