I still LOVE this picture ! Reese looks so stinkin' adorable !
too funny
@Joyce. Randy now resents the camera and is not very agreeable to having his pic taken.
That is the cutest picture ever !
Such a handsome, handsome boy..
Love the intelligent look in the eyes!
I love PetSmart's classes, but I never follow through. When Lucy was very little she alternated between being Lucy and Lucifer. She was very smart and alpha. Tiny but mighty! haha. She's only 21 lbs. RR is 34 lbs, but she pretty much rules. However, she always gives her toys to him, but never food.
@Wendy, We are just going to PetSmart and there is only one other dog in the class (a puppy) and we get to make up the first class. I can't believe that they give you private make-ups. We will be going back to the same teacher we had before and she has some new ideas for doing the leash handling. & I am too also old to learn much but the classes are only for 6 sessions and we will get a lot of personal attention. I can't imagine not having a dog(s) but that day will come and I hope it is not too soon. Randy is currently having a temper episode because Reese has the bone that he wants but since she is healthier, she is dealing with him well. She is currently dug in under the coffee table and he is barking but if she decides in, he won't want it. They are doing some control interactions. Mine got out recently and I tried to trick them my calling them to go for a ride, Reese fell for it until she got to the car but I grabbed her and Randy tried to get into the car of a new neighbor, just thought he would ride with her. Fortunately, she was just getting home. They can be angels or devils as it urge strikes.
Lucy is still alpha. I don't think that's going to change. But Rafa isn't letting her walk all over him anymore. I was completely in charge when it was just Lucy. She was extremely well-behaved & I patted myself on the back a lot. Now I am absolutely humbled. Neither of them listen to me if they don't feel like it. Even the simplest command goes unheeded. I am inconsistent but too old and lazy to go back to school.
@Wendy, That is a pleasant surprise. Is Lucy still alpha? I hope so. Randy is letting both his females know that he is feeling his independence. He seems to have decided that he should be raising a leg but not quite how to do it correctly since I had him neutered at 24 wks. We are going back to school because he is smarter than I am!!! I am inconsistent.
