You know -- I really didn't realize how much I love a dog with a tail. Shepherds really don't have happy tails, they tend to be conservative tail waggers. Cardis, oh no, they have helicopter bum. Sometimes all I have to do is look at them and the tail tip just goes *wagwagwag* and it makes me smile.
Not that I don't mind stubby-bums. It's just a lot more subtle. :)
