I was recently stunned to learn that Al was only 22.4 lbs (I'd thought 25-27+). I think he bribed the vet with a fake sick call in return for a recommendation of increased rations.
Hahaha! "Dem Cardigans, deys gud dogs, dey is." No offense, I'm a farm girl and I know I've caught myself leaning on fences going "Yep. Yep. Yep." Dem Nikons is also good, but man, I wouldn't pack that thing in. I finally gave up and bought a pack for my lenses, wow, it's heavy. :/
Caleb? About 31 lbs. Simon's around 35 last time I weighed them in. I actually have to struggle to keep weight on Caleb, he eats two cups of food a night and burns it like it's rocket fuel, haha. :D He's a very long, lean guy!
In my next intarnation, I'm gonna git me a onna dem Cardigans.
(Reintarnation is returning to life as a hillbilly) No offense, Cardis are farm dogs, right?)
And a Nikon.
Aw, thanks guys! He does know he looks good. Now, hopefully the judges will think so again this weekend... I'd love to rack up a few more points before he drops his coat!
Chris - his coat really is that bright too. Everyone who sees him goes, "Wow, that's a gorgeous color!" I don't think I've seen too many Cardigans as fire-engine bright as he is - in the direct sun like this, he's super, super bright. We call him a Tigercorgi, hahah! ;) I was always a merle person until I got this brindle, and now I have to say, I do really like this red-brindle color, wow.
