HAHA. This is the favorite of 1 person...ME. Lucy's owner. I promise to remove some of these photos. I'm new at this and having too much fun and pretty clueless.

Lucy's had the run of the house since she got over the puppy-ugly eating furniture & rugs. She tends to just sleep on the den sofa when we're not here. BTW, please feel free to tell me if i'm sending too many photos. it won't hurt my feelings a bit. with 3 dgts in their 20's it takes a lot to offend me. My breeder told us to bathe Lucy only when she's dirty/smelly. She keeps herself clean like a cat and their fur has some oil that helps dirt just slide off. People always comment how clean lucy is, yet I can't remember her last bath. We just brush her.

Ok, since you admitted it. I wasn't kidding. I hate when calls interupt mycorgi viewing time. Not that I answer, but the notification box is annoying. Lol.

I just figured once she was potty trained, she was fine. She's had free reign of the house for a long time. She was crate trained, but I stopped when she quit having accidents in the house. She chewed paint and Sheetrock once, at corners. I put stuff on the corners and she quit. She doesn't chew on anything but her stuff at my house. She is not that well behaved when my mom is babysitting. That creates problems. But it's hard to correct behavior issues that I don't see/find. I'm trying to make sure she has more of her toys here.

Haha. I just did the same. I rushed a friend off the phone bec. I wanted to continue looking at all the corgis. My corgi has now become my biggest time consumer. Re. leaving a 10 mo. old puppy alone, you didn't mention for how long. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with leaving a 10 month old puppy alone for a few hours if in a safe place or crated. Puppies sleep a lot anyway. It's important for puppies to get accustomed to alone time. You can't be w. them 24/7 even if you're tempted to do that! ; )

OK! My email address should be in your inbox now. I love to see more pictures of Lucy! My husband is threatening to take away internet on my phone, bc I'm always on mycorgi looking at pictures! I get aggravated when a phone call interupts my browsing! lol, j/k. but I'm pretty bad.
I'm biased, but I love her markings too!
I love this site, having people that love to talk about corgis and that want to see corgi pictures.
puppy's grow up too quick! though I don't miss the chewing and pottying. I read a post recently that said 10 months was too young to leave a corgi alone. really? I've never had any problems with her. I usually have my mom babysit her when she babysits my son, but I have left her alone before. Is it because they might get into something that will hurt them? see? talking too much again, that always happens when I use the computer instead of my phone.

PS I would have never let her out of my arms when she was little but she was not a cuddler. She'd cuddle for a minute and then get ready for some mischief. She was Lucy on some days and Lucifer on the others. But, always a delight and a game girl! I learned to train her lovingly and early so we have a well-behaved corgi that we can take anywhere--or I could have had a little alpha monster!!! I have to add that she's the only dog that we've ever allowed to sleep with us. She's our baby. What's your email addess. I'll send you some more photos. And, I'd love to more of Cookie. She's a beauty w. gorgeous markings.

Thanks so much! You've made me so happy. Wait til I show your comments to my husband. He'll love it. As a puppy, she was like a little doll––hardly seemed like a real dog. I used to tell her to stay small and not grow up.
She's still very soft and small, which we told the breeder we wanted so we could stay in the passenger cabin with us when we fly. I've had corgis my whole life, usually pairs, but I think Lucy is the smartest & most beautiful of them all (tho' my kids got mad at me when they heard me say that).
