"Hello all.  Just curious if anyone knows of any legitimate breeders either within GA or in a nearby state.  Our little Barkley is due for a good friend and since we moved into our new place, we have more than enough space for another…"

"So how is Mr. B doing?  What did the vet have to say?"

"It's funny that it's so much later than his final meal.  The same thing happened to Bertie, but only once, and about an hour after he ate -- he suddenly looked like a football, and was very restless and agitated.  I thought of…"

"Oh I wasn't in any way suggesting that, since it most likely isn't bloat, the OP shouldn't go to the vet.  Hope it didn't come off that way.  I was just saying, since that's so rapidly acting, it probably…"

"I am thinking it has more to do with his upset stomach/hunger maybe, as I am fairly certain that it isn't bloat as we are very strict with physical activities shortly after eating.  Another thing I meant to add was that he tends to…"

"You're right Aber, bloat will kill a dog fairly quickly (a matter of hours) and does not go on for weeks, but symptoms are very similar to those described here and some dogs have a propensity to bloat and, because of the potential seriousness…"

"Doesn't bloat just happen and pretty much kill the dog?   Would it really go on for days and days, and only during specific hours of the night?    My friend lost a great dane to bloat and it was over in a matter of…"

"I would definitely discuss the matter with my Vet.  Panting, pacing and attempts to vomit  are all signs associated with bloat.  His discomfort and stomach issues should be taken seriously. Hopefully there is a simple solution."

"I know yellow/white vomit with no food in it means the dog is hungry, usually... Maybe you should give him the whole cup right before bed and see if that changes anything-- split up the morning food instead (1/2 cup in the morning, 1/2 cup at dinner…"

Nightly panting, frantic movement/pacing, and vomit. Help.

Hello all, I am going to be taking Mr. Barkley to the vet here shortly, but I was just shooting this out there if anyone else had experienced anything similar and come up with a solution. He is a Male Pembroke Welsh Corgi, just turned 4 recently, and this past week or so has all of a sudden started taking on these characteristics in the early hours of the day, usually lasting from 2am-6am:-Excited panting, nothing heavy like he just got done running, more like the kind of panting you get when…See More

About Me:
I am currently living in Kingston, GA. I fell in love with Corgi's back when I was in College and after I graduated I surprised my wife with a Corgi pup who I promptly named Barkley.....I regret that decision as he took that name to heart!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and his name is Barkley Brewski, his last name comes from combining both of our last names which are Brant and Tadajewski. He has a red/tan and white coat with ginormous ears and seems to be a little bit taller than other corgi's that we have seen before. He is almost four years old and I found him through a breeder online in California. I have come to the conclusion that Barkley is related to the Energizer Bunny in some way or another lol.
I have:

Welcome Anthony and Barkley! I thought you named him Brewski because he was a fan of the suds, LOL. He's very cute!
