About My Corgi(s):: Guiche celebrates his fifteenth birthday in August, and is a perky senior citizen happy to wander through Brooklyn Heights (stopping for the occasional treat, of course!). Born in Mississippi, and one-time resident of New Orleans, Guiche gets his name from the Welsh word for "man."

We named research in naming our little guy by finding a Welsh name that would suit him. We loved the name Alwyn (pronounced "All-win) which means "friend of the elves" or "noble friend". Great to see that another corgi parent took the route when naming their furry kid. Again, great pics and I hope all is well! =) Oh and Happy early Birthday!
