Our corgi (Nikko) is 11 months old and he is the sweetest thing in the world until we won't let him do something he wants to do.  He knows his commands, never gets aggressive towards food, LOVES…Continue

Welcome. Nikko is adorable. The nipping may just be normal teething. Try to just substitute an appropriate chew toy when he's nipping. I loved holding my puppies when they were little, and I'd just hold a chew toy for them to nibble on. Teething is annoying, but it is short-lived. There are also chew toys filled with water that you can put in the freezer. They are very soothing for a teething pup's tender gums.

Hello and Welcome! You're gonna love this site ~ lots to see and do! Nikko is adorable! The nipping is his herding instinct...he wants you all to be together so he can keep an eye on you - My Hanna did that for awhile too, but has since grown out of it. Corgis are so special... :)

Hi Brittani! Welcome to Mycorgi. This site is awesome. My Corgi Baxter was quite the nipper. It does get better. He is 7 months now and hardly nips at all. Just keep working on it by redirecting or correcting! Good luck.
