Hello, I recently adopted a corgi mix from a high kill shelter and I'm in love! Now I understand why corgis have such a large following. My only problem now is I wanna get another one! :)
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Since my boy was a rescue I don't know much about him. He's obviously a corgi mix and the vet says he's about two or three years old. He's a sweetheart with a few cute quirks. He likes to pick up my shoes and carry them to his bed. He doesn't play with toys, but every now and then I will catch him shaking a stuffed animal by the tag, or tossing his bone in the air. At the dog park he would rather chase the other dogs than chase a ball. He also rarely barks and has this adorable little aroo call that I've recently learned is a corgi trait. He's somewhat still in his shell (since he probably was abused, or at the very least abandoned, and is now a very timid and submissive pup). But in the short time that I've had him (since 2/10) he has opened up quite a bit! I love my little boy!! :)
Welcome! Ahh yes tags (on anything) Sami still loves the tags more then the toys. When she was smaller what we would have given just to buy a "bag o'tags" hehe. Hope to see some pictures soon.
Welcome Brittany! I'll bet as time goes by and your new pal gets further away from the bad things that have happened to him he'll become even more playful and lovable. Good on you for rescuing him from a terrible fate!
Welcome Brittany, thank you for rescuing your baby. We have 2 rescues, and it is true, they do have some issues, but they are soooo special as well. Carol, Lucky and Sonny
Welcome Brittany, Hayden my corgi and I are new members too. Hope this will be lots of fun for all of us. What is your corgi's name? Loving to chase is one of their fun things to do.
