About My Corgi(s):
Our first Corgi was actually my late Wife's.Reilly was born January 31, 1999. My wife passed away in 2002, and, of course I kept Reilly. He was a joy and a great companion. I later remarried and my Wife brought her black Lab, Midnight. Midnight passed away in 2010, and we dogsat my stepsons yellow/golden lab. Reilly died in may, 2015, at 16 1/4 years. I really missed him, so we searched for another Corgi. We found a pair at the Faerieland Rescue just North of Minneapolis. They had been together about eight years, and their names were Fred & Ginger. We couldn't separate them so we took them both. We have now had them just over seven months,and they are great! What loving and fun little guys.

Update

Just an update.  We lost our last Corgi, Ginger a couple of weeks ago.  She was just two weeks short of 13.  She had fluid around her lungs and heart, and the vet couldn't do anything.  She is now in a pretty wood box with Reilly and Fred.  We sure miss not having them greet us when we come home, or wake me up at 6:00 for their breakfast.  No more evenings by the fire with one of them on my lap.

Don't know if we will get another Corgi or not.  I'm 82 and slowing down.  If an older one came along, though, I would grab it!
