My Husband and I are proud corgi parents to Cheyenne Texas.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Cheyenne is a ton of fun in a small package. She was the runt of her little and today at almost 2, she barely tips the scale at 18 pounds. Trust me, she's not under fed. Just well excercized. Anywhere we go (including work) she goes too
Actually, this Sunday would be fine. Did you want to go to the one off of 288? I'm free all day, so just let me know what time you prefer. Did you want me to post on the Texas group page and see if anyone else wanted meet up there?
Ha Ha. You don't sound like a stalker at all... Not yet anyway... I would love to meet up at a dog park around Pearland. It's much closer for me too (Obviously). I work during the week so it would have to be on a weekend. Just let me know. Cheyenne is adorable by the way!
We got Cheyenne in October 2008. She was already named by her former owners so we can't take credit for the name. Caesar, pictured, was our beloved mix (I think a Cardigan mix maybe) that my girlfriend found. She already had two dogs and a small house so she asked us to take him. He was, and now is, a dog from heaven. He turned us on to Corgis.
Our Cheyenne was rescued from a shelter in Chandler, OK. She was 30 lbs. when we got her. She and her sister, Dora, belonged to an elderly couple who had to give them up when they went to live with a daughter. How sad! The rescue owner said that Dora was very dominant over Cheyenne and did not want to adopt them out together. We have been working on her weight, but she is a tub!
